Today, I logged on to Facebook and was told to check a list on Goodreads. I found this under a list called “Indie Books Better than 50 Shades of Grey”:

It’s no longer this far up, but I had a little squee moment! I also recieved 2 new 5-star reviews from my beta readers today!

Happy Birthday, Alex Band!

Published June 8, 2012 by Ema Volf

I have been celebrating Alex Band’s birthday most of the day! From midnight until I passed out around 3:00 AM and then started again when I got up a few hours later. How? By running his music ALL DAY LONG, supporting his online store, and leaving a little message on his website that he’ll probably never see! Oh, and posting this blog, which he’ll also probably never see. 😉

I can’t help it! I love this man! His music has gotten me through some very tough times and never fails to bring a smile to my face. I wish him many more blissfully happy birthdays! He deserves them!

That being said, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALEX BAND! You’re not getting older! You’re getting better! ♥

So much excitement!

The printed copies of The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter by Jennifer Malone Wright and Unbound by Cat Miller are available for preorder! They’re available on their blogs (posted below)! You can even request them to be signed!

Naturally I ordered both! I adore both of these women! They are amazing and their writing is fantastic! Both books are on my list of favorites! I could rave on and on about them forever, but you guys should see for yourselves!

Midnight Music

I’m up late editing and this came on my Pandora Station! This is one of my favorite songs EVER! It’s beautiful and heart-wrenching and I love to sing along! And when I was in high school I’d tell you that I was going to marry Alex Band (Lead Vocals). Good thing he’s a bit unattainable! My husband would be out of luck! ♥

Just kidding! … Or am I? 😉
