Post-Vacation Mellow

I’ve finally gotten myself out of vacation mode and now am in catch-up mode. I’m putting off the laundry and all the nit-picky cleaning until later tonight or tomorrow. I’m just enjoying the slightly mellower mindset that vacations usually leave behind. Housework and assignment planning can be postponed until after I’ve allowed myself to soak the happy in.

Back in writing mode because I REALLY want Avery Maye finished soon. 🙂 And thanks to the short break from nearly everything this weekend, the story is flowing much more freely than it has been lately. Which just goes to show you that sometimes when you’re stuck, things really do need to be put aside for a bit and picked back up at a later date.

The joys of writing

Part of the fun of writing is turning exes (of yours or someone else’s or both) into villains and having them die painfully. Especially if it was an extremely bitter ending. Oddly enough, it makes it easier for me to get over it and eventually forgive those people. And you get to have one of those fantastic “muahaha!” moments. X-D
