Rainy days! You know what that means!

Published May 6, 2012 by Ema Volf

It means I need to quit being a bum and focus on editing instead of letting my attention wander all over the place to everything else! That’s been easier said than done this week …

But, I’ve got 18 chapters edited for the first round, then I’m handing it off to my beta readers! So there’s that!

However, I did finish reading several books this week, including Lily Crussell’s Of Darkness and Light. I had a hard time getting into it for the first few chapters, but once the story started rolling I was HOOKED! I can’t wait for the next one!

Busy day!

So today I finished TWO amazing books! Insight by Jamie Magee and The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter Part 5 by Jennifer Malone Wright! I highly recommend both of these!

Next up, Unbound by Cat Miller and The Spirit Box by JH Glaze!

Also Avery Maye goes in for editing! 🙂

Vacation Day 2

Published April 21, 2012 by Ema Volf

We left Missouri earlier today! It was a fantastic trip! We stayed in a hotel with an indoor water park and then hit up World Fest at Silver Dollar City today! My son got to ride his first BIG roller coaster ever, appropriately named PowderKeg! He wasn’t super happy about it at first, but later decided it was entertaining. 🙂

Anywho. Back to writing again! Hopefully I can wrap this phase up within the next couple weeks! It’s so close to being done!

Also, don’t forget to pick up Lily Crussell’s book, Of Darkness and Light, today! It’s free this weekend! She had troubles with actually showing up as free earlier this morning, but it’s fixed now!

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend! ♥

EXCITING NEWS!

Published April 20, 2012 by Ema Volf

I just received word that Lily Crussell’s book Of Darkness & Light will be free this weekend! I can’t wait! This one has been on my to-get list for a while now! And unfortunately I’m pretty broke this month with the hubs planning a secret family vacation that he still won’t clue me in on until we leave tonight! So problem = solved!

BTW, I won this bookmark from the book in a giveaway in celebration of a group moderator’s birthday. I must say that this is one of the coolest bookmarks I have ever seen! I almost want to get two so I can fit them together like so! Fantastic idea on the bookmark design! ♥
