Wowza

I’m pretty banged up. I got the trampoline put up all by myself with the exception of the top part of the safety fencing around it. And that was only because I’m too short to reach. But now I’m all bruised and beat up and scratched up and I think I broke my knuckle … LOL! Oh well. My son is ecstatic and that’s what counts. And I think I got my workout for the WEEK done in that one. LOL! I’m going to be hurting tomorrow.

The family birthday party!

Published May 26, 2012 by Ema Volf

Since my grandmother, my husband, my son, and I all have birthdays in mid-late May, we have a joint birthday party for everyone! Today is that day!

My parents used my dad’s truck brought my son’s present from her and my dad this morning because it’s too big to fit in our cars. And as the main stuff-builder in the house, I get to learn how to put together a 15 foot trampoline today! Wish me luck! I might need it!

I’m thinking I’ll be using this thing myself for most of the afternoon … You know … Testing it out … For safety and scientific purposes! That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it! šŸ˜‰

Eric Benoit

So, thanks to the power of Facebook, I met an amazing author named Eric Benoit! He’s currently working on a novel called Flames of Khyveria! It’s the first book in The Khyverian Chronicles series! I’veĀ had theĀ privilegeĀ of reading pieces of it, and so far I love what I’ve seen! I can’t wait until it’s finished!

If you would like a small taste of this book, he has graciously posted the first chapter on his blog here.

Midnight Music

I’m up late editing and this came on my Pandora Station! This is one of my favorite songs EVER! It’s beautiful and heart-wrenching and I love to sing along! And when I was in high school I’d tell you that I was going to marry Alex Band (Lead Vocals). Good thing he’s a bit unattainable! My husband would be out of luck! ā™„

Just kidding! … Or am I? šŸ˜‰
